ABS Greets Muslims as Ramadan Commences ~ Abamiedaablog

This is to heartily rejoice and welcome our Muslim brothers and sisters to the Holy Month of Ramadan 1443 AH.

Ramadan is a period of deep spiritual reflection, self-improvement, heightened devotion and true worship. It is a moment when Muslim Ummah are expected to be ascetic in their devotions and religiously follow the teachings & tenets of Islam. This solemn period avails believers of Holy Prophet Muhammad ( S.A.W) the unique opportunity to renew and strengthen our faith through genuine fasting, holy supplications, reflective meditations, reading of the Holy Al-Quran, and unrelenting charitable deeds.

It is indeed no doubt that our country, Nigeria and the entire world at large are passing through trying times most especially the unending faceoff between Ukraine and Russia. This fasting programme therefore offers all Muslim Ummah the unique opportunity to make supplications to the Almighty Allah who is the most benevolent and merciful for  ease over these affairs, and specifically as our nation makes preparation for the 2023 General Elections.

It is my sincerest prayer that the Almighty Allah will accept your supplications, take them as _Ibadah_, and grant every of your heart desires as we  commence this year's Rammadan fast.
