2022 WOMEN'S DAY: Cherubim And Seraphim Movement Church Organized International Women's Day Symposium ~ Abamiedaablog



COMMUNIQUE ISSUED AT THE END OF THE 2022 INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY SYMPOSIUM ORGANIZED BY:

Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Surulere District, Abeokuta Branch, Chapel of Faith, Oke ilewo, Abeokuta held today:6th March, 2022 held at the Main Auditorium Nuj Press Center Iwe Iroyin Oke-ilewo Abeokuta.



As part of the activity to mark the 2022 United Nations International Women's day aimed at focusing global attention on the role of women in development, their opportunities and challenges, the C&S Movement Church, Surulere District, Abeokuta Branch, Chapel of Faith, Oke ilewo Abeokuta brought about 100 Christian women drawn from various denominations of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church namely: Movement, Sacred, Eternal,Beloved of Christ, Christ Church, Jimbuaka C&S, other Christan denominations and members of the civil society organization to commemorate the day with a symposium.



The symposium with the theme: WOMEN -THE CHURCH, THE COMMUNITY AND THE NATION has the Director, Commercial Services Ministry of Justice S/M/I/I (Barr.) Adejumoke Adewole as guest speaker with the chairperson women's wing, unification of C&S Churches Egbaland Snr.Ap.Mother.Pro.T.O Akinyeju as the chairman.



The event which was held at the Main Auditorium Nuj Press Center Iwe Iroyin Oke-ilewo Abeokuta also benefitted the presence of a former permernent secretary in the ogun state civil service,Mrs Mojisola Dosunmu and the chairperson women's wing of the organization of Africa instituted churches(OAIC) in abeokuta south division, Snr M.I.I.A.O Oniyitan.



At the end of the event, the participants adopted the following communique:


1.Equal rights and roles should be given to male and female in all activities as we are equal before God as written in Gal.3:26-29


2.Celebration of women should not be limited to a one day affair but women should be celebrated all year round recognising their role as mother,wife,helpmate,administrator and manager


3. A woman must be able to help herself and take care of herself through adequate rest, recreational and leisure activities


4. A healthy empowered woman will be a good partner for a responsible man & together they will build a healthy family,a vibrant community and a productive nation


5.To achieve their full potential in social, economic and political  development. Women should put Christ at the center of their life through the maxim "women for Christ,women for development"
