LANDMARK PROJECT: Governor Dapo Abiodun, Please Dont Scam Mr.President - OGD Apostles~ Abamiedaablog.

It was brought to our knowledge the press statement signed by Femi Adesina the Special Adviser to the President on media & publicity dated January 10, 2022 captioned "President Buhari to commission LANDMARK PROJECTS in Ogun State"  which is slated for 13th January, 2022.

For the avoidance of doubt and not to be economical with the truth, we will recall that during the first term of Otunba Gbenga Daniel as the Governor of Ogun State the same Abeokuta/Sagamu interchange was awarded to OGROMA after many company including Ministry of Works bidded for it to be constructed and dualised from the single lane to a dual carriage way.

The road upon completion was commmissioned by President Olusegun Obasanjo with  fun fair in January, 2006.

President Muhammadu Buhari will recall that it was this road he plied for his  campaign at Ake palace ground in 2007 as ANPP presidential Candidate and 2015 as APC Candidate. One should now wonder how a road that has already been commissioned by a President who is from Ogun State and Abeokuta precicely to be repeatedly commissioned as a LANDMARK PROJECT by another President within the span of 16 years because of mere asphalt resurfacing refurbishment. President Buhari should not be scammed with a removal of President Obasanjo plaque and replacement with President Buhari in the name of commissioning an asphalt resurface road without drainage that cost more than whooping N20b (Twenty Billion Naira)

The amount spent on the road is not our own problem as we are not a Financial Crime Commission, but the insult passing to our Leaders.

This is not only an embarrassment  to the former President Obasanjo who came to commission the road in 2006, but also to the former Governor Daniel who dualised the road.

Its a big embarrassment to President Muhammadu Buhari to come and commission the road already commission by the former President Olusegun Obasanjo 

Please, Governor Dapo Abiodun, enough of your scam in Ogun State
