A passionate call has been made to the Central Bank of Nigeria by Nigerians studying abroad to review its policy on school fees and Accomodation payments through the commercial banks in Nigeria.
There have been numerous complaints by Nigerians studying abroad on how the Central bank of Nigeria unstable policy on Forex and commercial banks have made payment of school fees and accommodation extremely difficult .
The frustration is making Nigerians abroad crying out for help as some of them are already on the verge of been sent packing from there various schools for not paying as at when due.
Some of the Nigerian students lamented how their parents struggled to raise their school fees, and yet to pay to the school is like a camel passing through the hole of a needle when in actual face they have the fees ready.
We wonder why NIgerian Government is making things difficult for us , they killed our local education, yet they don’t want us to study abroad by frustrating us, lamented Christana Adoke an undergraduate medicine student in the Finland.
We are calling on the federal government to look into the monumental forex fraud being perpetrated by the CBN and the commercial banks.
They should make it seemless and easy for us , we see how our colleagues from other countries pay their school with every ease why is our own country different ?and they want us to be patriotic to the country said by Majeed Nazeef a post graduate student of University of Coventry, United Kingdom.
The Central Bank should act fast and as a matter of urgency to prevent many Nigeria students from being sent out of school because of inability to meet the payment deadlines which is not their fault.
I think CBN and Commercial Banks are Working Togerther. They are only frustrating innocent Nigerian. There is a question I have been asking and no one has answered, " upon all these policies, where do the Abokis see the foreign currencies they exchange? How may "form A" do they fill to apply 4those money? Banks and CBN are trading innocent Nigerian with deceit. Just to pay school fees they were saying my BVN is not linked to email and over 2 weeks not my bank could not link email! Organised Criminals. Wait for my Litigation, it is by d corner.
