WORKERS DAY: THERE IS DIGNITY IN LABOUR - ABS CHARGES WORKERS.

The Assistant General Secretary of the Christian Association of Nigerian (CAN), Apostle Biodun Sanyaolu has enjoined the Nigerian Workforce to be proud of their contributions to the Socioeconomic development of the Nation as there is a great dignity in labour.

Apostle Sanyaolu said this in a Congratulatory message signed and released from his Media Office in Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital in commemoration of the 2021 Worker's Day Celebration.

"I am so proud of the contributions of our indefatigable workforce to our national building because the world cannot be any better without this class of individuals.  The anniversary, therefore afford us the unique opportunity to review the past and set a solid foundation for the future especially as it concerns the welfare and wellbeing of the working class" said Apostle 'Biodun Sanyaolu

He stated that there is no shame in labour as the ability  to work and provide for oneself and family is a blessing in itself despite the tolling unemployment rate and the coronavirus pandemic that have thrown many into economic mess. 

He further enjoined the Nigerian workforce to eschew corruption, greed and avarice as no great Nation is ever built where public wealth is cornered and diverted for overriding self interest. 

He also used the opportunity to appeal to the Nigerian workforce to use the 2021 Worker's Day Holiday to reflect on the ethics and values of good workmanship.
