Segun Showunmi Sets the Stage for a Glittering Dinner, As His Wife Celebrates Golden.

The Nigeria leading spokesman and the the current Spokesperson to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Hon Segun Showunmi has put plans in place to host who is who in the country at a birthday dinner in Abeokuta, Ogun state, as his wife celebrates 50 years.

Segun Showunmi who got married to his adorable wife, Mrs Yemi Showunmi over two decades ago gave gratitude to Almighty God for His support for the past 21 years of a blissful life together.

The wife recently in an interview at their magnificent edifice in Abeokuta revealed that Segun Showunmi is the best thing that has ever happened to her.

She posited that the journey to their union started like a child's play when Segun approached her at her Elder brother's after party and told her without mincing words that he would like to marry her, initially, she was stunned considering the audacity displayed by the fearless Segun, but at the same time, she found him irresistible.

It is not an over statement that in Nigeria of today, Segun Showunmi is a fearless politician and he will never hide behind a bark of tree to paint a non existing picture, despite the fact that he is a Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, he has not ceased from calling a spade a spade whenever the leadership of the party erred.

Segun Showunmi who recently gave his view in an interview in which the reporter carved the headline that Segun Showunmi will contest against the present Governor of Ogun state, Prince Dapo Abiodun, the truth is that Segun a.k.a Stone as fondly called by friends and close ally strongly believed that Ogun state is ripe enough to have a Governor that has what it takes to set the pace for others in the country and not the other way round.

As the stage is set for the dinner party, people are seen trooping into the country home of the Egba born politicians with event planners putting finishing touches to their arrangement
