Breaking: Abeokuta South PDP Suspend Chairman for Misconduct.

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) Abeokuta South Local Government has suspend the Chairman of the Party in the local Government Mr Moroof Olajide for misconduct.

In the Suspension letter signed by the Secretary of the Party in Abeokuta South Local Government Mr Sunday Sodipe claimed that the suspended Chairman is doing everything to pleased himself and disrespect the elders of the party in the Local Government and the letter read in reference to the vote of No Confidence and Suspension of the Chairman Mr Moroof Olajide which is liable to disrupt the stability and success of the Party PDP in the Premier Loca Government. "ABEOKUTA SOUTH"

The letter also read that the suspended Chairman Mr Moroof Olajide violated the party Constitution, and denied the Loca Government executive members some of belonging and also to perform their Constitutional duties and function according to the party Constitution as amended in the he year 2018.

The offences level against Moroof Olajide is that (a) He Commits breach of the Party's Constitution (b) Doing all what he is likely to bring the party into disrupt, hatred or contempt (c) Disobey or neglect to carry out lawful directives of the party or any organs of the party (d) Engaged in dishonest practices (e) Engaged in party Activities (f) Engaged in disorderly conduct at meeting, rallies or at any party function (g) Disrespect for leaders of the Party in the LG.

Now that he has violated such offences, they have power with the 2/3rd of the local government executives that any member of the party who Commits any of the offences listed in Section 58 (1) of the Constitution shall be liable to any Ora Combination of the following penalties, (a) Reprimand (b) Censure (c) Fine (d) Suspension with fine (e) Debarment from holding any party office (f) Removal from Office (g) Expulsion from Party.

They said subsequence to the Suspension of the Chairman, the majority executive members agreed that the Deputy Chairman Mr Kamal Sodipo should start serving as the acting Chairman till further notice.

Mean while, when contacted with the Party Senatorial Chairman, Hon. Taiwo Akinlabi he said he has called the both side to calm down that he will intervene and soon as possible in the coming week.
