Engr. Olayemi Williams Bags NANS Hall of Fame Award.

The Chief Executive Officer/Chairman, The Williams and Sons Nigeria Limited, HRM Engr. Olatoye Mathew Olayemi Williams has been awarded as an Icon of Humanity and Societal Development of the Year 2020 conferred by the National Association of Nigerian Students Southwest Zone.

Induction into NANS Hall of Fame is an award that is used to appreciate and encourage people that support the importance of education and students developmental projects in our dear country.

The Hall of Fame Award, according to the Deputy Coordinator NANS Southwest Zone, Comrade Oladimeji Uthman stated that the award was resonated upon the philanthropic gesture of the Royal King, HRM Olayemi Williams whose passionate professional capabilities, fervent and productive contributions to global development, positive impacts towards the transformation of a better Nigeria, empowerment of the youth and passion for students developmental projects made the award visible.

The award ceremony which took place in Ede city, Osun state and conducted by NANS delegates from the most ideological zone. The award which was presented by the Deputy Coordinator of the association to the well deserved personality shows the efforts he has put in for the survival of education and humanitarian services he has rendered in Nigeria.

In his remarks, HRM Engr. Olatoye Mathew Olayemi Williams appreciated and expressed pleasure for the recognition by the leadership of Nigerian Students who deemed it fit to honor him with this very special award of excellence from the largest students body in Southwest Geopolitical Zone. He also pledged to continue posited that he felt honoured and with that, he would not let them down thereafter charged the body to always remain vanguard of the nation as it was.

Thereafter, HRM Engr. Williams appreciated the leadership of the Nigerian Students who deemed it fit to honor him with this very special award of NANS. Also, he pledged to continue supporting the student's movement in the country.

While ending the award ceremony, the NANS delegates also advised all philanthropists to continue aiding the development of education and youth in Nigeria.
