We Can't Continue Watching Demoralize Police Officers, PCRC

The leadership of Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), South West, Ogun State and Adatan Royal Area Command has made a passionate appeal to Nigerians to never turn their backs or abandon the police and other security agencies, saying the vast majority of the Officers are patriots who are equally committed to a greater Nigeria.

The PCRC leaders led by Alhaji Mogaji Olaniyan said the events of the past few weeks, especially the #EndSARS protest, should not be framed in a way that might leave officers and men of the Police demoralised or dejected.

Demoralising the security force, especially the police, might play into the hands of criminals who prefer anarchy to hurt their victims, Mogaji warned.

While Speaking, the Southwest assistant Secretary, Alhaji Farouk Akintunde commended the efforts of the Nigerian Police Force on the just concluded #EndSARS Protests in the various communities, we care about our police and we must not demoralise them. We should avoid using one brush to tar all of them.

I urge all Nigerians to stand up and support the police, we need to embrace them to do their job, said Alhaji Akintunde

In his remarks, the PCRC Chairman Adatan Royal Area Command, Hon. Taiwo Akinlabi said we have to make sure we loud our voice so that the Government can hear and do the needful to the Officers of the Nigerian Police.

He said according to IG, we lost about twenty eight police force during the protests, we can not say police is not good and we can not do without them, we the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) South West, Ogun State and Adatan Royal Area Command  we are I'm supports of our Officers are we will ever support them.

The PCRC Deputy Chairman Adatan Royal Area Command, Engr. Adesanya promised adequate support for the Nigerian Police Force that the Officers should summon courage, they should not relent in their efforts and make themselves available to the Masses that they do the way they have been doing it.

Engr. Adesanya charges members of PCRC Oke-Itoku Police Division to support the police officers in carry out their duty, we must work together to take the glory together.

Earlier in his welcome Address, the PCRC Chairman Oke-Itoku police Division, Alhaji Sheriff Adejola, said things are getting better the way the PCRC leadership are doing it that they will not relent their efforts in providing quality and affordable support for the police in their domain.

Meanwhile, Alhaji R A Sokenu on behalf of other members pleaded with Ogun State government to provide Security Patrol for our police officers that the Officers are using  their personal Vehicle for Security Patrol. You don't expect a policeman to come to community without Vehicle, so the government should come to their rescue.

In his Short Speech, the DPO Oke-Itoku Divisional Police Headquarters, SP Edeh Emmanuel said he was happy to See all leaders of PCRC in his Division that he was the most bless DPO in Ogun State having all the leadership of PCRC in hid jurisdiction. 

SP Edeh Emmanuel thanked them for their support even before now that he was appreciate that this visit is a kind of moral buster because they will have it in mind that they have people behind them so that anything they want to do they will not look back.
