Eid El-Maolud: Akinlabi Felicitates with Muslims, Preach Unity.

The Chairman Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) Adatan Royal Area Command Alhaji Taiwo Akinlabi has joined Eminent Nigerians to congratulates Muslims across the world.

Akinlabi said this in congratulatory massage to mark the birth of Prophet Muhammad, May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him which is marked on 12th of Rabi'ul Awwal, the islamic Callender.

In a statement signed by Adatan Royal Area Command media Assistant, Lamidi Obayomi said the teachings of islam are centred on belief in one God, devotion and service to humanity. Quran 2:177 spells out the fundamental concept "the believe in Allah and the last Day and Angeles, and the revealed books and the Messangers; to spend of your substance, out of love for Allah, for the kin, for orphans, for the needy, for the freeing of slaves; to be steadfast in prayer, and practice regular charity, to fulfil the contact made, and to be firm and patient, on pain and adversity"

This is the man who is being remembered today. But it is heart rending to note that all the virtues that this great prophet epitomised are in great deficit in today's Nigeria.
