Unmetered Billing by DISCO's is Legitimised Stealing a Rape of the Nigerian Masses who Continue to Indure this Unabated Indignity in Return for Continued Darkness despite over 6yrs of Power Privatisation.

It's time for Govt who is also a Major Shareholder in all DISCO'S to Insist that this Situation stops Once and for all

There is an Estimated 6m Deficit in Meter Installation Gap

Mass Importation of 6m Meters is the Immediate Solution which is a Few Containers. With the average cost of a Meter being N7k to N10k max that equates to N60bn

Since Govt does not have the Resources to Purchase these Meters for its Citizens whose Cost can be added to their Tariff 

It's time that DISCO.s are Compelled to Becone PLC's Listed on the NSE for Full Accountability & Transparency with Greater Reporting Requirements.

Between the Next 2 Weeks National Strike Suspension Round Table Negotiations between Govt, Unions, Disco's,  Gencos & TCN must Ensue.

One Condition should be that Govt must Insist that DISCO's, GENCO's & TCN become PLC's to Raise the Much Needed Funds to Supply & Install the Meters in Record Time & Improve Uninterrupted Power Supply in Return Unions will agree to Tariff Hike in Power Sector.

All Concerned Nigerians and Opposition should insist on this Solution instead of just Condemning Govt.

This is an Immediate National Emergency that needs Urgent Attention & Requires all Hands on Deck. 

If Govt Fails to Act and our Legislatures Fail to Legislate then we must Condemn them Loudly and then let the Disorder Reign. 

Solving this Mess will make Tariff Hike Palatable to Nigerian Masses in the Midst of our Economic Downturn, Nigerians Deserve Some Positives for their Sacrifices.

Improved Power will Improve Employment, Productivity & Security this will be a Legacy for Posterity if PMB can Achieve this something that others have failed for 60yrs.

On our Diamond independence Celebrations It's time to Liberate Nigeria from Darkness. We must Prove that Proper, Transparent, Effective Privatisation works and is not a Curse.

Let's all Galvanise Now and Break the Back of the Power Sector Cabals Strangulating Nigeria.
