Atiku Support Group Congratulates Gov. Godwin Obaseki

The umbrella body of All Atiku Support Group In a statement signed by its Chairman,  Fabiyi Oladimeji has congratulated His Excellency Godwin Obaseki of Edo state on his victory at the just concluded PDP Primaries In Benin.

In the statement, Fabiyi said;
“The AASG on behalf of our Leader His Excellency Atiku Abubakar GCON, members across the country and most especially Edo State, congratulate His Excellency Governor Godwin Obaseki on  his victory at the PDP primaries election. It has been a long and tough journey for him.

We urge the Governor to be very magnanimous in victory and work with every members and stakeholders of the party in the state.”

“We salute his doggedness, courage and resilience to liberate the good people of Edo State from the shackles of self acclaimed godfathers.”

The group also appreciate our party leadership at both the National and State levels and all  those who made efforts to ensuring that our party had smooth and rancor free primaries most especially, the three aspirants that agreed to step down for Governor Obaseki in the interest of Edo State.

“The AASG commends the National Working Committee of our party for showing leadership and capacity. A party like the APC that lacks the capabilities to manage its internal affairs and crisis can not manage the country affairs well, as a result , has no business being in power.

“We also express our appreciation most importantly to the three aspirants that agreed to step down for Governor Obaseki.”

AASG urges the good people of Edo state to vote en mass for the PDP and return Gov. Obaseki at the general election, so he can continue the good works he is doing in the State.
