ANSAR UD DEEN SOCIETY OF NIGERIA SAWONJO BRANCH MARK FIST YEAR ANNIVERSARY IN GRAND STYLE.

The ancient town of Sawonjo in Yewa North local government areas of Ogun State was literately shut down on Sunday 9th of February 2020 as the Ansar us deen society of Nigeria, Sawonjo Branch marked her 1st year anniversary and conferment of religion chieftaincy title to some members of the society in grand style.

Dignitaries at the occasions includes the Chief imam of Sawonjo Central Mosque, religiou leaders politicians as well as top government functionaries were present at the colorful ceremony.

In his speech during the turban held at Ansar ud deen Central Mosque, Sawonjo, the chairman of the occasion, Alhaji Muheeb Mulero known as (Agbe) called on the Muslim leaders in the community to always think about their followers before their personal interests in order to create a prosperous nation.

Mulero, who stated that God is calling on religiou leaders to think about their followers before anything because the people come first, warned that those who fail to do so would “become liabilities and be thrown into the dustbin of history”.

He then urged the members of Ansar ud deen society to roll up their sleeves to support Muslim leaders across Sawonjo and those who want to create a better society.

Earlier, In his welcome address, the chairman Ansar ud deen society Sawonjo Branch Alhaji Azeez Akinloku said the day is a memorable day and first of its kind in the history of Ansar ud deen society Sawonjo Branch.

He commended members of Ansar ud deen society Sawonjo Branch for their commitment both morally and financially support to make Islam goes higher in Sawonjo.
