IJEBU REGBEREGBE: CAC Registers Egbe Obayori Okunrin Akile Ijebu "Kuye".


The Egbe Obayori Okunrin Akile Ijebu "Kuye" under the leadership of Alhaji Suraju Lasisi has been registered by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

In a press statement release on Monday, July 8, Comrade Akeem Temitope Akilo, the publicity secretary of the egbe, said egbe Obayori Okunrin Akile Ijebu "Kuye" Foundation was registered as a Non Governmental Organization (NGO), set up for the common good of members of the egbe, community and the good people of Ijebu nation, it was received with applause.

Comrade Akilo quoted Alhaji Suraju Lasisi, the Giwa egbe, as saying that the purpose of the registration with the federal government is to set a standard, to enhanced the reputation and prestige of the egbe, as well as to formulate policies aimed at engaging major stakeholders and the public. The egbe's incorporation suggest that it has permanence and is committed to effective and responsible management.

The certificate of incorporation was unveiled by the Iya Egbe Obayori Okunrin Akile Ijebu "Kuye", Chief (Mrs) Morounkeji Atoyegbe on Sunday, July 7 at her residence in Lagos.

Recall that Chief (Mrs) Morounkeji Atoyegbe on Sunday, July 7, hosted the entire members of Egbe Obayori Okunrin Akile Ijebu "Kuye"  to a get-together at her residence in Ogudu, Ojota, Lagos.

Chief Atoyegbe,  her husband, the wife of the Baba Egbe who represented her husband, Hon. (Barr.) Ademorin Aliu Kuye, the Akeweje Obirin, Alhaja Suliat Kasumu (Malo)  and Alhaja Fausiyyat Sekoni were among the guests at the get-together event.

Members of  her business community in the fabric and textile industry in attendance of the get-together included Alhaja Basirat Sobajo, Alhaja Folasade (Fashad-Shine Shine Baby), Alhaja Tawakalt Ajadi, among others.
