Ed-El-Fitri: Apostle Biodun Sanyaolu Felicitates with Muslim Faithfuls

The Senatorial Candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in the last general election, Ogun Central Senatorial District, Apostle Biodun Sanyaolu felicitate with Nigerian Muslims on this spiritual occasion as we join the Islamic world to mark the end of Ramadan with the Eid el Fitri celebration. Let me specially congratulate Muslim residents of Ogun State on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.

In a statement signed by his Media Assistant, Lamidi Obayomi said the sacrifices made during the holy month of Ramadan should draw all Muslims closer to God. He enjoin all Muslim brothers and sisters to draw enduring lessons from Ramadan, which include personal sacrifices, piety and self denial and call on you all to emulate the good virtues of Prophet Mohammed, he appeal to members of the Muslim faith to look beyond all artificial social, political and economic divisions including minor ethnic and religious differences in society and abide strictly with the teachings of the Quran and Holy Prophet Mohammed”.

I am optimistic that the lessons of Ramadan fast, which dwells on self denial, sacrifice, and being your brother’s keeper, will continue in the months ahead as we face the issues that confront us in our daily lives.

Once we demonstrate self-denial, sacrifice, and being our brother’s keepers, the peace that we desire to ensure an environment conducive for sustainable growth and development shall prevail, Said Apostle Sanyaolu.

Finally, as you celebrate today, I urge you to reflect deeply on the tenets of Ramadan fast and be vigilant.

May Almighty God continue to guide us and bless Ogun Central and Ogun State state in general.
