Atiku Spokesman, Segun Showunmi Expressed his Dissapointment on How Security Matters are being Trivialised by the Federal Government.

The Spokesman for the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2019 election, Hon Segun Showunmi has added a new dimension to playing opposition as he puts the interest of the people first.

This was displayed recently in an open letter written to President Muhammadu Buhari on the need to protect the unity of the country.

In the thought provoking letter, Segun advised the President to gag his media aides as their utterances are capable of frustrating the long enjoyed peace among the existing tribes.

The letter that has received diverse interpretations from the concerned citizens was seen as timely and useful as the country is about to explode as a result of the Federal government insensitivity to security matters.

Segun Showunmi who put his political affiliation aside to help chart a positive direction on how to solve security problems that had bedevilled us as a nation.

While embarking on what looks like a media training for the Presidential aides, the Spokesman in his letter urged the President to call them to order so that they do not because of eye service put the country into ethic war.

The Spokesman expressed his dissapointment on how security matters are being trivialised by the Federal Government, and therefore, entreat President Buhari to take a bull by the horn to put an end to the herdsmen menace.

In Conclusion, Showunmi called on Nigerians to support the federal government to combat the cruel behaviour against humanity and continue to promote unity in diversity.
