Amosun, Okorocha And Ajimobi Will Not Achieve their Ambitions - Prophet Temitope Aduroja

Prophet Temitope Aduroja, who predicted Goodluck Jonathan’s defeat in 2015, as well as the postponement 2019 general elections, says three Nigerian governors vying for the post of senators in the country will not achieve their ambitions.

The clergyman listed Governor Isiaka Ajimobi of Oyo, Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun and Rochas Okorocha of Imo State as the three governors that will not achieve their ambitions.

Abamiedaa News reports that Prophet Aduroja made the predictions in his twenty-eight prophecies for the year 2019 which he released last month.

“Governor Isiaka Ajimobi of Oyo, Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun and Rochas Okorocha of Imo State will not achieve their ambition of becoming Senator. The trio will be defeated,” the Prophet said.

Abamiedaa News recalls that Ajimobi was elected governor of Oyo state in 2011 under the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) which metamorphosed to All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s ruling party.

Ajimobi broke the second term jinx in the state in 2015, becoming the first governor to be re-elected for a second term. He is set to return to the Nigerian Senate, where he was a member from 2003 to 2007, serving as the deputy minority leader at the expiration of the second term on May 29, 2019.

The 69-year-old Ibadan-born politician is the candidate of the APC for Oyo south, having displaced the initial occupant, Adesoji Akanbi, to clinch the ruling party’s ticket.

On the other hand, Okorocha contested for governor of Imo State in 1999 and lost, contested for the presidency and was a special adviser to former President Olusegun Obasanjo. Okorocha has also enjoyed unrestricted movement across parties, from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), APC and also formed the Action Alliance (AA), under which his son-in-law, Uche Nwosu is contesting as a governor to be his successor.

Okorocha was elected governor of Imo state in 2011 and was re-elected in 2015. He is seeking to be a senator at the expiration of the second term on May 29, 2019. He won the APC primary election to represent Imo west senatorial district.

In the same vein, Amosun was a senator for Ogun central district from 2003 to 2007, who lost in his bid to become governor in 2007.

However, in 2011, fortune smiled on him and he was re-elected for a second term in 2015. With just a few months to the end of his tenure, the 61-year-old politician is set to go back to the Senate to represent Ogun central but won't win the senatorial seat come next week National Assembly.

Abamiedaa News reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) rescheduled the Presidential and National Assembly elections for February 23.

The Commission also postponed the governorship and state assembly elections, it will now hold on March 9.

Giving a reason for the decision, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu said the decision was taken after a careful review of the plan for the exercise.
