OGUN CENTRAL 2019: SANYAOLU PLEDGES TO SPONSOR BILLS TO INSTITUTIONALISED CDAs AND COOPERATIVE SOCIETIES FOR OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE.

The Peoples Democratic Party Candidate for Ogun Central Senatorial District, Apostle Biodun Sanyaolu says his mission to the Senate of the Federal Republic is to sponsor Bills to institutionalized the Community Development Associations to be recognised as the forth tier of Government which must be consulted regularly by Government and also saddled with responsibility of project certification.

Speaking with Newsmen in Abeokuta, Apostle Sanyaolu also pledged a bill on the funding for cooperatives societies as the best alternative for funding for the citizens.

The  Pioneer  Commissioner for  Community Development and Cooperative Services in Ogun State disclosed that strong partnership between the Government and Community Development Associations is key to delivery of Democratic dividends to the people at the grassroot.

Apostle Sanyaolu, a great grandson of Abraham Sanyaolu Bajito, the first President of Egba Customary Court and member Egba United Government assured of quality and effective representation at the red chamber with regular consultation with the citizens in the selection of constituency projects.

"I will hold three consultative meetings per year, establish a stakeholders forum comprising major stakeholders in the senatorial district to brief them on activities at the senate and seek their inputs through needs assessment on their preferred constituency projects"

Biodun Sanyaolu, a Fellow, Association of National Accountant of Nigeria(FCAN) and holder of Master Degree Holder in Business Administration, said part of his Agenda if elected Senator is meaningful empowerment program for Women and Youth in the "ABS Cares Program" which would also reach out to the poor and the Aged.

The PDP Senatorial Candidate said his decision to contest for the Senate was a Divine Mandate to serve humanity with fear of God as well as calls from the party leadership based on his antecedents and pedigree.

The Former Chairman of Ogun State Pilgrim Welfare Board and current National Officer of the Christian Association of Nigeria, decried the notion that politics is a dirty game, said good Christians, Muslims and adherent of other faith must participate to change the narrative and sanitise the polity with fear of God.

Speaking about his chances at the February 16th National Assembly election, Apostle Sanyaolu says he remain the best for the job, based on Character, integrity, qualification and his grassroot acceptance having lived and work with the people in the last 30years as a farmer, Cooperator, Community and Religious leader amongst others.

He said his antecedents as Pioneer Commissioner for Community Development and Cooperative Services include reintroduction of Grant-in-Aid for CDCs/CDAs, instrumental to creation of Community Department at the Local Government, strengthening of the Ogun State Cooperative Federation and the stabilisation of the Traditional Healers Council amongst others.

The PDP Candidate urged the electorate to Vote for the PDP at the General Election to make Nigeria Working Again with quality service delivery, citizens engagement and basic social amenities to make life more meaningful.
