Popular Movie Maker Attacked, Robbed At EKO Bridge


Dare devil armed robbers has attacked popular Nollywood movie maker Lancelot Oduwa at the Eko Bridge , Lagos.

The sad incident that happened during the week around 11:00 pm saw the robbers carting away all his sensitive documents and cash.

Lancelot also known as 'The Govnur' was going home after he closed from his office in Surulere, Lagos this said day when he was attached and robbed.

According to him, "I got to Eko Bridge around 11pm because of heavy traffic along that route. There was no street light on the bridge so, everywhere was dark and at the other side of the road Dangote trailers were parked along the stretch of the bridge making it completely difficult to see what goes on at that side of the bridge. I was robbed at gun point. Its very painful how degenerated the nation has gotten into."

"But, I have since reported at Iponri Police Station and gone to court to do affidavits of some of the items that were taken from me."

The movie director and maker told Omonaijablog that items that were taken from him during the attack includes; 6 ATM cards, driver's license, foreign credit cards, BVN card, I.D cards, voter's card, USA bank cards, health insurance card and my police VIP clearance card.

Aside these, cash, both foreign and naira was taken from him in an attack that lasted few minutes.
