Breaking: PDP, INEC Accept Buruji Kashamu Candidates List

............. PDP, INEC & KASHAMU: THE RULE OF LAW TRIUMPHED

The anxiety over the list of Ogun PDP candidates to be accepted by INEC for the 2019 elections has been put to rest. The rule of law has triumphed as the list of candidates that emerged from the lawful primaries conducted by the Sen Kashamu backed Bayo Dayo exco, authorised by subsisting high court judgements has been accepted by both INEC and the PDP National with gladdening response of obedience to rule of law. Acting on valid court order, the court bailiff submitted  the list to both INEC and the PDP National for mandatory acceptance. Our lawyers - Rickey Tafa & Co also forwarded same to both INEC and the PDP National Chairman. as required by law. To crown the process with political diligence, the Ogun PDP state Secretary - Chief Semiu Shodipo personally delivered the list of candidates with accompanying details of primary election results to both INEC and the PDP National.

While INEC has accepted the Bayo Dayo exco candidates list and signified readiness to process and use the list for the 2019 elections in obedience to court order, the PDP National Chairman has interestingly, also aligned the party to the path of conformity with the rule of law. This is highly impressive and indeed a commendable development in  our democracy as civilised nation guided by law and established due process. Kindly find the receipt acknowledgements by INEC and the PDP National Organising Secretary of all the aforementioned correspondences.

We give the glory of this victory of the law and democratic due process over lawlessness and impunity to the almighty God and the commendable perseverance of our esteemed leaders and vast followers. Hearty congratulations to all our elders, leaders, party members and teeming supporters.

This has foreclosed any further posturing of alternate Ogun PDP candidates list for the 2019 elections. What's reasonably left is the resolution of issues to exploit the substitution window enabled by the INEC guidelines for our party to have the deserving victory at the forthcoming elections. Consequently, deliberate moves and concerted efforts shall be deployed in the next 24 hrs forthwith to mend fences and close ranks as a united political family. All our leaders and political stakeholders are hereby appealed to in party's interest to create enabling environment for accommodation and reconciliation. Walls of restrictions based on political groupings should give way for a united platform in our diversity. There is indeed *"no victor and no vanquished"* in this battle of legitimately democratic exercise of rights to aspirations as just witnessed in the Ogun PDP.

God will do well for us at the forthcoming elections.
Long life Ogun PDP.!
Long life PDP!!
Long life Nigeria!!!
