Reduce HoA Nomination Form Fee or Forget About Our Support: Ogun Youths to APC NEC

Youths across Ogun State on Saturday have challenged the National Executive Council of the All Progressive Congress, APC in the unimaginable and absurd fee attached to the House of Assembly nomination form

While addressing news men after a council meeting held at the state capital, Com. Rasheed Aroboto who spoke on behalf of the states youth which is a microcosm of the Youths across the federation that it is obvious that the NEC are not in support of Youths despite the fact that the President has earlier signed the Not Too Young to Run bill.

Aroboto who said "Where are they expecting Youths to get that huge sum of money to get a form knowing fully well their are still other expenses to be catered for. It is obvious that they (APC national excos) are not having form of feelings for youths nor ready to give us any change to hold elective post in the country."

The fee attached to the House of Assembly is too outrageous and uncalled for. However we have come to a consensus that if truly they still count on us to be at the helm of mobilization and others, they should as a matter of urgency vet and reduce the fee attached to the HoA.

Conclusively, if this is not done with immediate effect, youths across the federation will go against them and the party at large and this will on turn have adverse effect of the outcome of the upcoming election.

"We are not here to negotiate, we are making a request which must be met as a matter of urgency, we are youths who is interested in holding political portfolios as established under the law, but APC ought to make it more easier for us, but to our surprise, they are trying to make it more miserable. We have concluded that if our demands are not met as a matter of urgency, APC as a whole should expect a great revolution from the youths which will make them loose the power seat come 2019,Aroboto said.
