Make Ekweremadu Presidential Running Mate, Group Admonishes.

A new group has emerged by the name #EKWEREMADU4NIGERIA and is calling on PDP to make her principal, the Deputy Senate President; Senator Ike Ekweremadu the running mate to whoever the party will pick at the primaries as her Presidential flag bearer in the October 2018 presidential primary elections.

The group in a joint statement with MAKARFImustwin2019 said that the nation cannot be left in the hands of mediocres beyond 2019 if we truly want its survival.

They opined that Nigeria at this time needs a vibrant combination of President and vice that will hurry her out of the slippery water where it has been dumped by the ruling APC since 2015.

It said that all the aspirants under the party's platform are eminently qualified and will need to be complimented by a dogged man like Ike Ekweremadu to liberate the country from this seeming irredeemable mess it has been deepened by the current Federal Government.

The statement further called on Nigerians to rise up and reject the several election rigging patterns being employed by President Muhammadu Buhari, the latest which is the ban on phones and other devices at polling units that has been used in the past to check and expose electoral fraud in the country.

Spokesman of the coalition, Mr Odama Groovydee Abednigo who narrated the reason his group: MAKARFImustwin2019 which is considering a change in it nomenclature said, they joined the coalition simply because they believe in the ability of the Deputy Senate President whose urbanity is second to none. Odama said unlike some elites who don't read or would rather read WhatsApp messages offline as long as the sender is not of a certain parity would even encourage you by reply if need be.

National Coordinator (North), Mr Nuhu Suleiman Makarfi on his part added that Nigeria will gain a quick recovery from this pit of uncertainty as orchestrated by the government of the day where nepotism reigns supreme if His Excellency, Sen. Ike Ekweremadu is made Vice President.

The statement further advised that Sen. Ekweremadu should accept the offer if called upon for the love of the country as demonstrated by him over the years as Senator Of The Federal Republic Of Nigeria.

The coalition is spread across the 36 states and the FCT.
