Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state is about to be exposed as the consultant hired to execute Paris Club Refund fraud is offered Prosecution witness deal by Efcc before the arraignment of the 18 consultants linked with money laundering.

The consultant is a close associate of Governor Rochas Okorocha. To save himself from going to prison, the consultant who has been battling the matter in Appeal court is set to expose Governor Okorocha as being behind the dirty deal..

According to information made available to Ifeanyicy.com, the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) has revealed that the High Court has set a date for the arraignment in court of the directors of a consultant firm name withheld used for laundering of Paris Club Refund by the Nigerian Governor's Forum (NGF) .

Ifeanyicy.com exclusively gathered that a serving South East Governor (name withheld) facilitated the engagement of a consulting service firm which the NGF used as a front to launder the first trench of $3m dollars of the $7m consulting services contract arrangement.

Sources within EFCC, Ifeanyicy.com learnt was the opinion that the Directors of the consulting firm may take a Plea bargain and finally reveal the Governor behind the laundered funds.

You could recall that  the Anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission - EFCC armed with evidence of alleged diversion of the London-Paris Club refund, has applied for the forfeiture of over N1.823billion by some consultants hired by the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF).
