Buhari had, days before his journey, visited Lagos where he attended a colloquium in honour of Rinubu, a respected politician in the country.
Abamiedaa earlier reported how President Muhammadu Buhari announced that he would seek reelection in the 2019 presidential election.
The development was made public by the president's personal assistant on new media, Bashir Ahmed.
Ahmad took to his Twitter handle, @BashirAhmaad, to announce the development on Monday, April 9. He further disclosed that the president made the announcement during the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the All Progressives Congress 
Abamiedaa also reported that the Nigerian presidency on Saturday, April 14, said that President Muhammadu Buhari would only name his running mate for the 2019 presidential election after he might have emerged the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
It was reported that the senior special assistant to the president on media and publicity, Garba Shehu, said this in an interview with its correspondent.
