PDP NYL S/West Zone Call on the Citizenry the need to be involved and Participating in Government

While Speaking at the PDPNYL Zonal meeting held this Friday in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Comrade Olumide Akomolafe, who is the South West Deputy Zonal Cordinator of the League, advised every PDP men and women to showcase their interest in the development of the Six states of the Southwest geopolitical zone.

"Ekiti State is no doubt one of the states blessed with the intellectually minded human resources and great potentials in the country, people who are ideological balanced to be grounded in the art of leadership, governance and academic excellence both at home and in diaspora.

He added that every Party men and women should get their Permanent Voters Card in preparation for the Gubernatorial election in the state and in putting the dreams and aspirations of the party at the forefront.

Comr Akomolafe further urged the people to ensure maximum cooperation to the present Ayo Fayose led administration in the state so as to make Ekiti state the best in the country in order to enable the citizens to continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy.

In his own remark, the Ekiti state Coordinator of the League, Comrade Oluseye Daniel, assured the people of Ekiti state that the PDP will never fail them. He implored party chieftains jostling for the party ticket in the forthcoming Governorship election to play by the rules, while boasting that the PDP under Governor Ayo Fayose has done creditably well.

The meeting was Chaired by the Deputy Zonal Coordinator of the group, Comrade Akomolafe Olumide. Other participant were the Ekiti state Coordinator,  Oluseye Daniel and his Deputy Hon Dunsi Williams. Other Coordinators at the meeting include; Akinola Adewunmi (Oyo), Lateef Bello (Lagos), Lamidi Abayomi (Ogun) and Oluwasogo Ogunsola (Osun).
