Be prepared for the task ahead- Ogun Mega party chairman charges members

As the 2019 elections draw nearer, the Ogun Mega Party of Nigeria (MPN) chairman,  Alhaji Moshood Adeshina has urged members of the party in the state to get prepared for the task ahead.

Alhaji Adeshina made the statement on Thursday at the party secretariat in Abeokuta during the meeting of the State working committee of the party.

"I welcome you all to the meeting of the state working committee of our party. The 2019 elections is not far away; time is not on our side, we must start reaching out to the electorate.

"Our party is a party for the masses. We have come to rescue Nigerians from hardship, we have come to help restore the lost glory of Ogun State and to succeed in this "SPECIAL MISSION" all hands must be on deck. Mega party is here to do the unthinkable," Alhaji Adeshina submitted.

In his own speech, the state secretary of the party,  Mr. Bola Odumosu commended the leadership of the party at the National level for a job well-done at the National convention of the party in Abuja last week.

Odumosu lauded the Ogun State delegation to the National convention for displaying a high level of maturity and discipline at the convention ground. He charged members of the working committee to always intimate stakeholders of the party in their Local Government Areas with the activities of the party.

In her response, the state woman leader of the party, Mrs. Nike Ejioye (Nike is ok) said a lot still need to be done  publicity-wise. She made it known that the electorate are waiting to see banners and billboards of the party mounted in strategic locations across the State.

The Ogun East and Ogun central Senatorial Chairmen of the party, Hon. Folarin Akintunde (Elewedu) and Alhaji Lekan Odejimi respectively charged members of the State working committee of the party to "LEAD BY EXAMPLE" and start reaching out to the people at the grassroots.

Other Leaders of the party in attendance were Hon Jigan Taiwo (state Deputy chairman), Mr Sanni Ibrahim (Treasurer) Hon BUSARI Badmus ( publicity's secretary), Mr Adetoye Odunnoiki (financial secretary), and Hon Boye Ijaduoye the MPN state organising secretary.
