Solaja distributes cash gifts to constituents








 No fewer than 270 persons from Ijebu North State constituency 1, have received cash donations from the lawmaker representing the constituency at the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Bowale Solaja.

Solaja  told Newsmen in Ijebu Igbo on Friday, that the gesture was  in fulfilment of his promise and appreciation to his constituents.

“The disbursement is to enable the beneficiaries to cater for their immediate families and reduce hunger.

“Just last December, i empowered 10 physically challenged people in my constituency with N50,000 (Fifty Thousand Naira) each to enable them establish their own business.

“I have also provided 8 motorised  boreholes all completed and commissioned, spread across the six wards in my constituency," Solaja said.

Speaking further, the lawmaker said he recently commissioned lock-up shops at Impoe town. He re-assured the people that he is working on using legislative actions to ameliorate their challenges.

He therefore promised a continuous quality representation of his people and thanked them for their support thus far, assuring that he would never let them down.

 Solaja eulogized the lawmaker representing Ogun East Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Buruji Kashamu for his sterling performance at the red chamber, describing him as "a true man of the people".

The Party chairperson in Ijebu North LGA, Chief Mrs. Tuke Omotara lauded the lawmaker for bringing the dividends of democracy to his constituents.

Party leaders at the event included Chief Ola Shobowale, Mrs. Onabanjo
Adunke, Mr. Sakiru Agarawu, Mr. Akorede Adekoya, Alhaji Rasheed Balogun, Mrs. Adebisi Olasunbo, Mrs. Abati Abiola.

Others are Mr. Kazeem Adebayo, Mr. Banjo Mufutau, Mr. Okuyelu Ade, Alh. Badejo Kazeem, Mr. Moshood Rotimi and Mr. Olaronbi Olusegun.
