BLOGGERS PLEDGE FOLLOW UP ON MAPOLY BLACK WEEK

Is no longer a news that activities have been paralyzed in Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) Abeokuta, Ogun state for over three months due to upgrade of the citadel of learning to degree awarding institution cum the establishment of Ogun state polytechnic.

We (Bloggers) pledge and appeal to the whole world to follow up this fuss between the ASUP MAPOLY chapter and Ogun state government because where two elephants fight, the grass suffers.

The career of the innocent students have been paralyzed and stagnant for months now because of political ambition of the state government cum the job securement of the lecturers, this made the students to stage a peaceful protest some weeks ago which never moved the government to get the issue solved.

However, the students could not open their eyes and allow their future to be jeopardized, this made them to stage another protest tag BLACK WEEK for their voices to be heard, but instead of the state government to listen to their voices and feel their pains, Governor Amosun ordered the fully Armed police men to face the harmless and innocent students.

Many of the students were injured, 20 of them were arrested, every parents, stake holders, public figures, educational gladiators and lovers, Pen professionals etc should kindly follow up this saga for these students not to pay for what they didn't consume, because I can't imagine why a government could order the brutality of the future leaders.

Ogun state is known as the pace setting state in education matters, it is disheartened if such barbaric action can be megaphone by governor Amosun just because of his personal aggrandizement.
