BREAKING NEWS - COURT ORDERED KANSIEC TO ACCEPT ONLY ANIEBONAM'S NNPP CANDIDATES FOR KANO LG ELECTION.

The Federal High Court sitting in Kano Judicial Division today 25th of October, 2024 ordered The Kano State Independent Electoral Commission (KANSIEC) to accept and recognize the Candidates of Agbo Major led executives of NEW NIGERIA PEOPLE'S PARTY (NNPP) in the coming Kano State Local Government Election.

It is on record that The New Nigeria People's Party ( NNPP) with the support of The Founder, Dr. Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam dragged KANSIEC to Court claiming that The Power to present candidates for Election rested with Dr. Major Agbo led National Executives and that the NWC been paraded by Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso was dissolved in August 2023 and therefore became irrelevant in the administration of the Party.

In a Judgement delivered today in Kano by Hon. Justice A.Amobeda, The judge granted all the prayers of NNPP and ordered the immediate recognition of Agbo Major led Chairman in Kano, Barrister DALHATU SHEU as the only Chairman qualified in the face of law to present New Nigeria People's Party Candidates for the incoming Local Government Election in Kano.

Consequently, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso/ Abba Yusuf and their candidates are by this judgement disqualified to participate in the coming Local Government Election in Kano as member or candidates of New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP)
