FIFTIRAK CELEBRATION BEGINS

 

Activities marking the FIFTIRAK Project and Golden jubilee celebration of chief Idowu Rotimi Akintade has been lined up in order to ensure a smooth and successful outing. 

A release signed by the chairman organizing committee comrade Emmanuel Ikwue and secretary Comrade Ayo omotosho indicate that the weekly programme begins on Tuesday 23rd July 2024 with a support visit to the former alma mata- Methodist primary school, Igan okoto and later to Emmanuel commercial High School, Ilaro Yewa.

The FIFTIRAK team on Wednesday 24th July will be visiting Laurent Bankole orphanage home with members of July Club Family of Nigeria to donate gifts to the less privileged in the institution.

Thursday 25th July will witness a campaign of SAY NO TO RITUAL KILLINGS with members of July club converging at Kuto and omida market Abeokuta respectively. 

The grand finale and the book launch holds on Saturday 27th July 2024 at June 12 cultural center kuto Abeokuta by 1:00 pm.

The event would feature birthday fun fare , celebrating twenty five years on the microphone and  launching of the book "AALO ATI ALAYE" while Alh Sefiu Alao Adekunle Baba Oko,  Abudukabir Alayande Ere Asalatu, Alayo melody singer and other hip-hop artistes would be entertaining with music.

The 50th birthday of chief Idowu Rotimi Akintade, Bobajiro of sawonjo and Bobakeye of Igan okoto land will be rounded  off on Sunday 28th July 2024 at RCCG Agape mega parish Olorunsogo Abeokuta.

The release however enjoyed the members of the public to acquire their Ankara fabrics design for the event and planned to attend.
