My Notice as The State of Things in Abeokuta The Capital of Ogun State.~ Segun Showunmi

We will install a new culture of cleanliness. I had earlier advised the Dapo Abiodun government to pay attention to the environment and if need be fire the commissioner in charge of the environment for I have lived in the state since 1999 and I have never seen it so dirty. I am particularly embarrassed because Tony Ojeshina is in their midst one of our best environmental engineers who played critical roles in the foundation of The national environmental master plan, they also have Omoba Koya Adedoyin. I can list more people who could help. 

Of cause word from the grapevine around the cabinet is that the helmsman is someone who must have his hand in every pie from the point of view of profiting and he has abdicated his supervisory duties to his 3 musketeers who either have limited knowledge of the state or are people who ought to only be tolerated for the nuisance value of carrying about so-called grassroots politicians. We have never had it so bad.

Never mind with your help I will bring a new deal. A set of solutions that will instil discipline around cleanliness, timely removal of waste, and a deliberate waste to wealth program. I cannot accept that an educated and enlightened set of people will be so dirty and live in filth. No not under my watch. I ask you my friends to help me rediscover our preeminence. We are the sophisticated people of Yoruba extraction, a people of many firsts. I am sincerely set with bold ideas to rescue us from ourselves.
