The Provincial Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Ogun Province 16 Pastor John Ayodele has charged couples in the church to extend good fellowship and love to their families because this is the only way to win their souls for Christ.

Speaking from the Book of Genesis Chapter 11 verses 31-32 yesterday during the first and second services of the family week of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Peculiar Peoples Parish, G.R.A, Ibara, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Pastor Ayodele gave an example of Abraham's father and the relationship that existed between him and Sarah.

The Provincial Pastor gave an extensive admonition to couples on the possible ways to promote peaceful co-existence and create an enabling environment for love and tranquility to thrive in the family.

Pastor Ayodele counselled couples to have the fear of God and commit their ways to God before heading to the altar because once they are married they must stay married as the Bible did not support divorce.

The Clergyman during the sermon told members that the best way to settle one of the predominant problems in marriage which is child nursing rancour is that the couple should come together to agree on whose parents will come for baby sitting.

The Parish Pastor said that lack of communication and proper understanding are the major causes of crises in marriages, therefore, couples must treat their family members with great respect.

Furthermore, the man of God narrated how Moses father-in-law advised him to delegate authority to people who can assist him carry out his assignments in order to avoid being worn out as a result of too many workloads.

In the sermon the man of God explained that some ladies are in the habit of praying that their mothers-in-law should die before they get married, this he discouraged without mincing words, because whatever a man sow, he will surely reap according to the law of harvest in Galatians Chapter 6 verses 6-9.

Giving practical ways of maintaining marital peace, Pastor Ayodele charged mothers to give their female children proper education on how to behave towards one's mothers-in-law, as one good turn deserves another.

The Pastor in charge of the Province encouraged couples not to fence their families out, rather they must cater for their needs as at when due, knowing well that we are saddled with the responsibility of leading them to Christ, therefore, our lives must preach to them.

In the final analysis, he entreated singles in the church to pray and pray through before going to the aisle to exchange marital vows.
