OGUN PCRC COMMISERATES WITH CP AJOGUN AWOLOWO

The entire Ogun State Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) Commiserate with Cp Awolowo Ajogun psc, the Police management team and the entire Ogun State command on the unfortunate development that led to the death of Dsp Augustine Ogbeche, the DCO1 of Atan Division and the serious injuries inflicted on the Dpo Sp Sikiru Olugbenga in their bid to defend the burning down of the Divisional building. It is also noteworthy that the Obada Oko Division was vandalised while attempt were made on several others including Agbara, Iju, Itele, Mowe etc.

We salute the courage of our officers and men at this critical time and want as PCRC assure you that we are in this together and very soon all these will pass.

The misdemeanor of few officers and men should not be taken out on the majority. Most of these Police infrastructures were put in place by the community and their wanton destruction will only continue to hurt the security architecture of the state.

We plead for continuous understanding of the protesters and appeal that they give peace and negotiation a chance.

Any struggle without leadership structure can only lead to chaos.

We will continue to appeal to our leaders and community heads to continue to engage the youths in our various communities to see reason why Ogun State needs peace to develop.

We commiserate with all those affected directly and remotely by this carnage especially the immediate families of the victims, our prayers are continually with you all.

We must continue to be strong for one another.

E-signed

Ven Dr Samson Kunle Popoola jp

State Chairman PCRC
