2023: Daniel Hosts Bala Mohammed, Babangida, Lamido, Abaribe, Opara, Others in Abuja

Former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, on Wednesday, met with select leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in his Abuja home on the way forward for Nigeria and the PDP.

A source at the meeting said “the agenda centered on the 2023 presidential race and the future of PDP”.

On the PDP entourage were Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, former Governor of Niger State, Dr. Babangida Aliyu; former Governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Sule Lamido; former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Austin Opara; Senate Minority Leader, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe; former PDP Chairman, Ekiti State, Chief Bola Olu-Ojo; Deputy National Secretary of PDP, Dr Emmanuel Agbo and others.

The delegation was received by Daniel, Rt. Hon. Adesegun Adekoya Abdel-Majid, Deputy Minority Whip, House of Representatives and lawmaker representing Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency and Mr. Segun Sowunmi, spokeperson of the Atiku Presidential Campaign Organisation (APCO).
