Hon. Ayodeji Shomide Inaugurate Tax Forces on I.G.R. Drives

In a bid to improve more on the Internally Generated Revenues (IGR) at Abeokuta South Local Government, the transition chairman, Hon. Ayodeji Shomide has inaugurated a tax force group on Monday 9th of March, 2020 at the local government secretariat.

Representing the chairman, the vice chairman, Hon. Samod Olanrewaju said that the constituted tax force is borne out to curb illegal vehicular  parking and movement within the local government council area and also to improve on the IGR at the local government.

He however enjoined all the members of task force to be diligent and concentrated on what they have been assigned to do, he said lawlessness will not be tolerated by the government.

In the same vein, the head of local government administration, Mrs. Bukonla Adeniregun also implored them to carry out their duties with diligence and humility.

The constituted tax force are street naming and obstruction tax forces.

Present at the inaugural meeting  were secretary to the local government, Alhaji Nurudeen Ayorinde, supervisor for Information, Youths, Sports and Agricultural Services, Hon. Wale Bakare, Director General Services and Administration, Mr. F.I Ogundele and Head of Information, Education and Sports, Miss O.B Fadipe.
