News Paper Editors in Lagos Embarrass Gov Abdulrahman of Kwara During briefing. Ask Him to Face Governance.

Gov Abdulrahman Face Governance, Stop All These Distractions...
Kwara Gov, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq sauntered into Lagos early this morning looking like a man who just left a sweet rendezvous.  He then quickly sent messages round newsrooms that he wanted a meeting with political editors and some bloggers.
Well, he met the political editors and bloggers in one hotel somewhere but  it does not seem his message was well received. While the meeting was going on, all the editors were just looking at him with disbelief as he shuffled from one file or paper to the other seeking to convince them why he had to demolish Ile Arugbo, the old people's home being used by the Sarakis for their social welfare programme for the aged and the needy. At a point when he found out he was not convincing the audience who could still not believe how that action will help him deliver on his promises to the people, he said he was ready to give the Sarakis another parcel of land somewhere else.
He also raised issues about Shonga farms and other unrelated issues. The editors continued to ask questions about how he feels comfortable discussing Saraki, Saraki every time instead of talking about what he will do for the people. It was a question that got the Gov flustered and disorganised. He was also quizzed about the legality of his action on Ile Arugbo and why he thinks it was right to act arbitrarily the way he did on the Ile Arugbo demolition.
The Gov seems to have lost the plot. Mr. Abdulrazaq is still fresh from his jolly trip abroad and has not felt the anger back home. The challenge he has to face back home is how to improve the lot of the people. Build infrastructure. Provide jobs and gainfully engage and empower the youths. He should stop all this grandstanding, gallivanting and sabre rattling. Face reality, sir.
