Self Confidence Is The Antidote To Failure

Late American country music singer, television host, actor, and businessman, Jimmy Dean in one of his quotes said:

"I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination"

Also, Late American politician and the 30th President of the United States,  John Calvin Coolidge Jr. in one of his indellible quotes said:

"Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent"

Brothers and sisters,  that hurdle you think is insurmountable might not if you believe in yourself.

Be inspired by setbacks and not be despised.
You must learn to turn temporary setbacks into success.

Stay focused and not distracted.
Be active in all you do and not inactive.
The world itself says anything is possible, with persistence anything is achievable.
With total commitment and prayers,  you can achieve what others could not achieve,  you can excel where others fail.

One of the keys to success is appreciating oneself, believe in your ability  just as the Nigeria  U-23 men Olympic team came from 3 goals down to defeat the Samba boys, Brazil by four goals to three. Self believe did it for the Kanu Nwakwo-led team.

The best form of encouragement comes from oneself,  despite the fact that David knew Goliath was capable of killing him in seconds, he encouraged himself and face what people taught was an impossible mission with courage. David capitalized on his own strength and the almighty Goliath was killed with a pebble. It takes  self believe and self encouragement to achieve such feet.

Tell yourself you can do it. I can do it.
Believe in yourself disbelieve in what people think of you.

Be infected with positivity and disinfect the negativity.
Burn down the  past memories and move on for there are better days ahead.
One's past can't be corrected one can only correct the present.

 Be grateful to yourself and your creator and let the disgrace be for your adversaries.

Focus is the key

Self determination leads to success.
Don't let failure depressed you.
You are in a mess once you allow yourself to be oppressed by failure, pretend nothing happened to you and move on with life. Business mogul, Alhaji Aliko Dangote was once a risk taker, today he is the richest man in the continent of Africa. When you are determined, the sky will always be the starting point.

Let me leave you with the words of former British Prime Minister Sir Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill that says:

 "Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts."
