Ogun Mega Party takes Manifesto to the Grassroots

..............Vow to Mobilising People right from Pulling Unit.

 There is one Yoruba adage that says 'aaya be si le, o be sare' this is best way to describe the immediate action of the executives of Mega Party of Nigeria Ogun state chapter as they took up the party manifesto to the grassroot.

We in the Mega party believe that all politics is local and that was what prompted the state executives of our party to start mobilising people right from the polling unit.

It is worthy to note that while other political party gladiators will sit down in their offices boasting and calculating, the state chairman Alh Moshood Adeshina led his team yesterday to Omu Isokan in Ofada Ward Obafemi Owode local government.

Members from about 15 villages around the unit converged for this historic visitation. Addressing the members, the chairman said only Mega Party is the only option left for us in Ogun state as other party have failed us. They promised us 'change' and all can witness what we are going through now.

He asked "is this the change they promised us?" Or is this the change you all want?  No!

“As such, Mega party has come to put smile on our faces. Our logo is a leafy corn which indicates agriculture and food for all, employment will be created, farmers will be empowered and become the king as they say."

"We have backbones, respected leaders with heart of gold, who love and cherish a common man. In Mega party, everybody is equal and important. All what we need to transform Ogun state to a 'Mega state' is in our manifesto."

He commended the party local government chairman, the ward chairman and executives for their foresight and for mobilizing  more members to organise the programme .

In her own speech, the state woman leader Chief Mrs Nike Ejioye said the activities of women in politics is very crucial and so encourage the women of  the area to do more in bringing people to join the party.

Speaking further, the state organising secretary Hon Boye Ijaduoye also commended the members. He added that members should go back home and tell their people to go and get their PVC. He told the gathering that without voters card you can't vote.

Responding on behalf of the members. The local government chairman of mega party Obafemi Owode local government Alh Aimasiko thanked the State executives for the visit. He said 'we are highly honoured for this august visit from the state, this is a wake up call for we at the local and ward level. And together we shall get there.'

Leaders present are, Alh Moshood Adeshina the Ogun state chairman Mega Party of Nigeria, Mrs Nike Ejioye, Hon Boye Ijaduoye and other notable leaders.

Others are all the surrounding village heads and Bales led by Bale Apompo village.
