KASHAMU: THIS GROUP CHANGE IS PUTTING THE CART BEFORE THE HORSE.

With reference to the defection of Ogunjobi & Co, I elect to respect their dèmocratic right to freedom of association and thank God for His grace of endowments with which to have accommodated them over the time that they were in our group. However, if their group change has to do with the misconceived pretensions of Ogun PDP party control change, then they are unfortunately in monumental error. It's important to also note that their coming to us in the first instance, was not our group's foundation but truly only necessitated by our grassroot dominance and the sanctity of the legality of our Ogun PDP structural control. That structural control has not changed despite current illusions and posturings but only the deep can comprehend the ongoing dynamics. Changing group affiliation over perceived change of structural control as of political style is majorly opportunistic though could be behavioural and difficult to change; it is certainly neither respectable nor commendable. However, I shall genuinely maintain my respectful and cordial relationships with these elderly people with humility and the dictates of Yoruba traditional appreciation for old age. I expect reciprocal gestures from them over the good things we have done together. I sincerely wish them well.

The only lesson to probably learn from this occurrence and those similar to it in the past; is that the warehousing of some somewhat demanding elders without content and guiding principles is politically wasteful and at best majorly serve being philanthropic as it's not quite productive in political real terms. Except in the rare cases of some not too common elders that are contentedly rational and devinely appreciative, the fact of which a lot of politically virile youth have always emphasised to me. I thank God for the lives of these rare elders that are unshakeable in allegiance, by shallow political winds without content, from whichever group or even political party they might choose to belong to. They are indeed reference symbols of enviable posterity and the rightful pedigree to emulate by our youth.

Good students of history by now have enough to learn from similar past political posturings in Ogun PDP with resultant outcomes to endear logical inferences and conclusion. It is trite that "only nothing can be built on nothing" and thus these efforts at building something on nothing is unavailably futile. Current efforts to illegally subvert the authentic Ogun PDP structure is a fall-out of my principled fight with an ungrateful Fayose which Makarfi lashed on to make this unsustainable propagation of illegality. I boldly assert that I can't be defeated by these illegal and cheapish manipulative concortions. Time will tell. My appeal is only for these people to be able to act with spirit of sportsmanship in good faith that is devoid of the previous treacherous betrayal of the PDP at electuons; but understandably to only vent minimal grumblings that could be managed; when this political charade falls like pack of cards, as would certainly happen, at the face of the law. Let those that eventually loose the Ogun PDP party structural control work with the victors for the party's electoral success.

May almighty God bless us all and grant the needed grace to witness the conclusion of this ongoing interesting political interplay.
