SHALL HISTORY OF PDP FAILURE REPEAT ITSELF IN OGUN STATE? ~ Abamiedaablog

Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it ,says Sir Winston

Churchill an American Statesman and past president.

 Churchill further

explained ,We must always look forward, but we have to understand our history

in order to not repeat the mistakes of the past.

We have seen too many instances

where people continue to pursue wrong courses of action because they do not

take the time to think critically about what has happened in the past.

Ogun state is a State that has produced Nigerian President, House of

Representatives Speaker, Ministers and Heads of Parastatal under our great

party.

Our party governed the state for eight productive years but lost to the

defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), now all Progressives Congress

(APC) in the 2011, 2015 and 2019 general elections. We are about to lose the

upcoming 2023 general elections again if care is not taking.

Have we forgotten

why we lost all those electioneering years? Internal divisions, rancor, bickering,

infighting and all, current PDP leaders continue to bicker and fight on faction

bases to suit their personal interest.

Yet all kept mute as if it was normal (Ti won ba ndi wa, ki a ma di ara wa)

(If they are deceiving us, we should not deceive ourselves)

A unification rally was held towards producing another governor in 2017, all

attended but at the end of the day, our party was enmeshed in legal tussles that

started at the National level where one of the leaders followed the National

leader then Ali Modu Sherif that lost to the caretaker Chairman Aliyu Markafi.

Many states were also affected, states like, Osun, Ondo, Oyo, Ogun etc.

Oyo has been reclaimed and we believe Ogun state will also be reclaimed if a reunification rally, meeting and collaboration is made now

For over a decade, Some national

leadership of PDP instead of resolving these crises in Ogun state PDP, they have

taken turn in milking the problems, turning it into a cash cow, when will this Some members of the leadership of our great party who have continuously been

receiving money and juicy gifts from the factional leaders of the party have

equally soiled their hands.

Therefore, they are complacent as the dramatist personae that have brought our dear party to her knees in Ogun state.

They intend to kill PDP in Ogun state instead of resolving the issue

Are we going to

let that happen?

We love this party, and we cannot be watching our locality rot away because

of internal crises, we are imploring our leaders to please intercede.

If there is a way to reconcile all factions either Ladi Adebutu or Late Buruji

caucus, you are a leader and you need to be fast on this matter.

We are law

abiding people, let us sheath the sword.

Enough of legal tussle. We need another level of intervention to amicably resolve this matter as was done in Oyo State

In most local government there are different factions, and this repetition needs

to be unified for the purpose of the general elections.

How can we have results better than what we had in recent elections?

We are all deeply concerned. Our

focus now is how we can collectively reclaim and redeem all our stolen mandates

especially the governorship and General election.

We are tremendously grateful to our leadership that knows the importance and

urgency of support Groups.

Sincerely,
