YOUTH GROUP DESCRIBE TOYIN AMUZU AS A SELFLESS LEADER WITH GENUINE INTENTIONS ~ Abamiedaablog

 

               Chief Toyin Amuzu

Chief Toyin Amuzu has been described as a selfless personality with genuine intentions and great potentials to liberate the youth from the shackles of poverty and joblessness. 

Ogun State Coordinator of Congress of Nigeria Youth, CONYO, Comrade Olalekan Sowunmi, stated this while presenting an award of honour to Chief Toyin Amuzu in Abeokuta as an Icon of humanity and Societal transformation.

Comrade Sowunmi said the award by the National body of CONYO to the community leader and philanthropist was on merit, as it was well scrutinized.

He explained that "the award was based on his activities aimed at developing the youth and building the society at large, noting that Chief Amuzu's human capital development is top notch". 

According to him, "we have been watching with keen interest how you have been contributing to the growth of our society. Your borehole projects to about six communities have reduced the problem of water scarcity. Your talent hunt show, football team, scholarship and other empowerment schemes are worthy of emulation". 

"You are not holding any political position, yet you have been able to do all these, this shows how selfless and patriotic you are. Infact, we need people like you in positions of authority to lead us". 

In his response, Chief Toyin Amuzu, thanked the youth group for the award , saying "the youth is a major stakeholder that must be given the opportunity to contribute their own quota to the society". 

He said, aside being given an opportunity, the youth must be well groomed and developed to meet the needs of the society. 

Chief Amuzu assured that he will continue to support the youth at all times and also contribute his own quota to the development of sports.
