Revenue: Abeokuta South Councilors Summon Suspended Contractors To Appear Before House

The members of the legislative house, Abeokuta South Local Government, Ogun state have  asked the suspended revenue contractors in the local government to appear before the legislative  house  on Friday, 27,8, 2021 for proper investigation on the generation of revenue.

Recall that the councilors last week, 18 of August  had their first sitting where at the end of the meeting agreed to call for the suspension of the revenue contractors over low revenue.

The councilors also asked the chairman of the local government, Hon. Omolaja Majekodunmi to inspect the ongoing projects left by the immediate past administration.

The majority leader of the house, Hon. Seyi Sodiya, popularly known as Solution at the sitting today  raised  motion that the suspended revenue contractors should appear before the house on Friday.

Hon. Orija  of ward 1 seconded the motion. 

The  leader of the house, Hon. Kazeem Adenekan and  other members of the  legislative house supported the motion.
