Eid-il-Fittr: Segun Showunmi Felicitates with Muslims.

Oh Allah, the Muslim ummah have fasted in line with your injunction. On behalf of all humanity, they have done their best. Perfection belongs to you alone. 

I ask for  the intercession of the 5 accepted ulul Azims 

1. Prophet Nuh (A.S.); Noah 

2. Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.); Abraham 

3. Prophet Musa (A.S.); Moses

4. Prophet ‘Isa (A.S.);Jesus Christ and 

5. Prophet Muhammad al-Mustafa (S.A.W.)

On behalf of our beloved country Nigeria, please have mercy on us, oh you who is more merciful than those that show mercy. 

Our circumstances are dire, and our weakness is evident to us; you are the absolute sovereign help us, oh Allah help us. 

Grant us peace and prosperity. Grant us unity and progress. Give our leaders the courage to navigate these times. 

We are a great and promising nation, do help us. Let your peace begin to envelop all corners of our country.

We are a blessed land; direct and inspire us to make the best use of the great blessings you have bestowed upon our Nigeria. 

Compatriots, happy Sallah, let us rededicate ourselves to a national reset agenda that will halt the mess we are in and leapfrog us into a glorious nation at peace with itself. Indeed greatness is in our spirit, and it is time now to unleash that potential we all have talked about forever. 

May Almighty Allah, who answers prayers, answer us speedily. Amen.
