Showunmi Tells Ogun People to ask Gov Dapo Abiodun's Claim, Says Opposition Exists in Ogun State

PDP chieftain in Ogun State and Atiku Spokesman, Hon. Segun Showunmi has described the comment from Ogun state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun that he has turned Ogun State to a one party State as baseless, reckless and careless.

Segun Showunmi said this on Saturday 18th of January 2020 while featuring on a radio programme Family FM, Abeokuta Ogun State.

Governor Dapo Abiodun on Tuesday said that there is no more opposition in Ogun State that he has captured and turned the State to a one party State when the former Gubernatorial candidate of the African Democratic Party ADC decamped and others decamped to APC at the Ake palace, Abeokuta Ogun State.

Showunmi said if one party wins election that party is the one that has the responsibility of forming government and if he interprets the fact that he is  being allowed to form government, which is very slow at, to mean opposition does not exist is tomfoolery, as for PDP in Ogun State for instance now we believe that it is after a while that we must  say that this is not correct.

Showunmi said he wrote a well publicized point of order, that DA is too slow when Prince Dapo Abiodun Govt. got to it’s six months mark with a promise that know one is quarreling with anybody and when it get to nine months date he will write another so they will know where and how people stand after that when it get to one year date he will write them a final one and then opposition work will now start against them.

If the Governor are now decides because of the people I like to call unending so sojourners, these  are the people who are jumping from one party to another hopping up and down looking for what only God can give them then the  good people of Ogun state should ask the Governor that were those people who are jumping to him now part of the PDP in last general elections, Said Showunmi.

He then advised Governor Abiodun to work and integrate some APC members who are his traditional members who probably shared ideological philosophy with him that was taken to APM by the former governor instead of carrying men that everyone know by their track record in the last couple of years they have been constituent unable  to stay in one place if it doesn't favour them.
