"I will Not Abandon My Constituents, If Elected" Barrister Abimbola Lanre Balogun


The leading House of Representives candidate under the platform of People's Democratic party (PDP) Representing Abeokuta North/Obafemi Owode and Odeda Federal Constituency Barrister Mrs Abimbola Lanre Balogun has said she will not abandon her people if elected as the member of house of reps. at the green chamber.


The PDP candidate make this Remark while addressing the journalist in Abeokuta, Ogun state capital. She said those representing us now are just suffering the masses by abandoning the main projects which is really affecting the growth of the constituency on terms of human capital and infrastructure wise.


While elaborating on the reason for her aspiration, she stated that she had been on ground for some many years before deciding to representing her good people, she had lived in the constituency and carefully studied his people by familiarisation with the needs of the  people.


Abimbola said she is in a better position to represent the people because the constituency have major challenges that the incumbent had neglected, she said she will try her possible best in getting things done than the past administration in terms of quality representation.


Also, She said she wants to make effective changes, that's why she is running for this position.

Her speech:

"We can't all seat back and be looking at incompetent people representing our constituency every time, those that believed in only buying Okada for their constituents as an empowerment project, I will change the faces of my constituency if given mandate to represent my people, Abimbola added."

Abimbola said she always feel pains any time she moves out for campaigning exercise because she noticed the main grassroots have been neglected, and cheated with good health care services, Educational facilities, Acquisition program for the youths.

"We have few schools in the rural area's, its just unfortunate that the people representing us now don't have the background of law, so that's why they can't lead the masses right. Abimbola said."


While talking on her chances, she said her chances is very bright because the politics we are practising in Nigeria is now different, people want to vote for Responsible and intelligent candidates that knows what is people want at appropriate time.

Abimbola reassured that she will provide another loan method for all the market woman than the high interest loan they are collecting to run their businesses and not given them rest on mind, No interest loan will be given out if elected.

She pleaded to the youth to come out and Vote for PDP next week Saturday.
