Gov. Amosun has become a Dictator................... Wale Adedayo
Amosun is my friend. But I am not a SIAst. Mine is Afenifere of the old order. Colleagues on this platform can confirm that the Afenifere sticker never left my car either at the PDP secretariat or later at the Governor's Office, when I became CPS.
But some perspectives to the issue at hand. I certainly do not believe Oladunjoye was threatened in ANY way. He has always been a SIAst after joining APC. But he MUST have been wronged by Amosun, thus the recant.
I told some colleagues who called me from Lagos today the same thing. It might have to do with the House of Reps ticket. And, I firmly believe Amosun missed it by imposing candidates on the party.
He should have allowed everybody to go to the field, even while supporting his choice candidates. Buhari emerged APC candidate through a keenly contested primary election. Osun State does not have the funds of Ogun State. Yet, Direct Primary was adopted to pick the governorship candidate.
Amosun has become a dictator. But you must remember that the likes of Oladunjoye assisted him to get where he is now. I feel sad because the APC will suffer the consequences if this executive high handedness.
PDP won slots in Lagos in 2015 in places where candidates were imposed. There is no division as we have in Ogun State in Lagos State. Ours is a special case. Amosun has missed it, big time. His advisers failed him.
