Abeokuta South Federal Constituency: Sepertating Issues from Tissues

It is time we (electorates) start asking our political leaders questions. We should demand for their plans and programmes for us and how realistic their proposed programmes are and how it would alleviate the suffering of the masses.
The electorates must eschew any form of sentiments as this has been a stumbling block and cancerous to the growth and development of our constituency and country at large.
Political aspirants must run an issue based campaign, they must focus on issues (not tissues) that affect the teeming masses and how their ideas, plans and programmes will tackle these issues bedevilling the society.
The good people of Abeokuta South Federal Constituency must not fall to aspirants with sugar-coated mouth as they are full of deceit and lies. They run from pillar to post, from one party chieftain to another, even to the extent of running to Northern part of the country to meet party chieftains in order to get the party (PDP) ticket through backdoor.
It only shows such person(s) is/are bereft of ideas and perspectives about governance.

It would be better if  aspirants put more energy on churning and selling their manifestos, programmes to the electorates than playing politics of "pull him down" of their co-aspirants, they should instead present their programmes to the party and the electorates for consideration.
It must be stated that, OKB is not in contest with the party leadership and he has no plan to hijack the party structure from the party leadership. He will continue to abide to the letter and spirit of our party constitution. Those insinuating the jejune or puerile notion are mere political neophytes, bootlickers and novice and they are just trying to create unnecessary division in the party.

Owolabi Kola-Balogun has been running an issue-based campaign.
As the CEO of OKB & Associates Nig. Limited, a leading real estate company, who specialize in building constructions.
He has met several groups and has been informing them about his plans and programmes for the good people of Abeokuta South Federal Constituency.
These programmes are faceted into four categories, they are;
1. Educational programmes
2. Human Empowerment Programmes
3. Provision of infrastructural facilities
4. Youth Empowerment Programmes

1. Educational Programmes: As we all know education is the bedrock of any society. For any society to witness unprecedented growth and development, government must work assiduously on the education sector.
This is one of the major agenda of Owolabi Kola-Balogun (OKB), he is ready to invest and work tirelessly on this sector.
a. Provision of Bursary to indigent students in the constituency.
b. Acquiring Jamb forms for indigent students in the constituency.
c. Construction of new classrooms and reconstruction of dilapidated buildings in our public schools.
d. Provision of free transport for our public school students.

2. Human Empowerment Programmes: OKB has been reiterating it in every platform, he will empower the people of the constituency. Empowerment programmes that will alleviate the suffering of the constituents. Empowerment programmes that will encompass all. The small scale business owners, market women, the farmers among others will surely benefit from it.
*He will empower women with loan facility of #250million with zero percent interest.
*Our farmers will also benefit from it, as fertilizers, other equipments will be procured for them with loan facility to boost the farming business.
* Small scale business owners will also benefit from this loan facility.
With this human and other empowerment programmes, the economy of the constituency will improve drastically.

3. Provision of Infrastructural Facilities: anther area, OKB will work on is by providing infrastructural facilities that will affect all.

a. Construction of Community Health Centres: He will constructs community health centres in strategic areas in the constituency. A standard and well equipped health centres that will complement the works and efforts of the existing health centres and hospitals on the constituency. This is in line with his programmes in order to improve service delivery in the health sector in the constituency.

b. Provision of Pipe Borne Water: He (OKB) is also ready to provide pipe borne water to communities and areas where they lack a good pipe borne water. As we all know, water is very exigent to man's survival. Boreholes will be provided to communities in dare need of it.

c. Provision of Transformers: This will be made available to communities in the constituency.

4. Youth Empowerment Programmes: Over fifteen thousand (15,000) youths will be empowered in the constituency. They will empowered through skills acquisition and other programmes in order to reduce the rates of unemployment in the country.
Capital will be provided to them to start their own business and create the empire they all envisage for.

These are Owolabi Kola-Balogun (OKB) plans and programmes for the good people of Abeokuta South Federal Constituency.
These programmes will be implemented without any party colouration and sentiments. These programmes will be felt by all irrespective of age, status, gender and affiliation be (party, religious, social).
